Anders' Apartment

Welcome to my apartment. The previous tenant was an elderly painter who decided to move back north to his family. This photo gallery was generated when I moved in, before any redecoration had taken place. Click on an image to see it in full size.

The first thing we can see is this fish painting. At first I was considering keeping it, but it had a few cracks and might be a shock to new visitors... so I put wallpaper over it.
If we turn around, this Picasso-esque painting, complete with a naked, pregnant woman is showing its pride. Probably it is the most art gallery like in the apartment. Someone suggested putting up a curtain to hide it rather than painting or putting wallpaper over it. Hm.
Let's go in the kitchen and have a quick peek at the 35+ year old stove. In real life it looked even worse than it does on the picture, and was most certainly replaced. Yuck! Now, let's continue into the kitchen.
Another colourful painting - is it impressionism? This will also be replaced by a harmless wallpaper. Sorry.
This is the bedroom, where we already begun to neutralize the paintings. It is a combination of patterns, landscape and I don't know what.
This is a part of a whole wall wide (WWW) landscape painting. Although it looks quite nice at first, I believe one would get tired rather quickly. Could work as a separate painting, though hard to cut out wallpaper.
The second of three walls in the living room. Notice how the artist has used the original (35 year old) wallpaper to create a white dress for the girl turning her back to the viewer.
To end with, here is a view from the balcony, located next to the kitchen. The tall house is an elderly living which amazingly is listed among the 10 tallest buildings in Västerås. I think that figure either is wrong or I'm not able to estimate heigths.
